Red Spawn

I worked on the red spawn it's pretty self explanatory. the building that is overlapping the path is an over head walkway with windows so players can shoot out.

Canyon -sketches

So over the weekend (or well today) I worked on the top right part of the map (which is the little canyon thing, and the start of the docks). I did a fast thumbnail concept sketch as well as a break down from the top down view, that includes two new little shack/building-like structures as well as a line of pine trees to block the vision from the shacks to the little canyon, to control the LOS (line of sight) on that area.

I also uploaded some of the other sketches, sorry i didn't upload them earlier I was having some issues with my scanner.

Sketch request

Can everyone throw up their sketches that they have so far? Could Andres put up the sketches, mainly the one with the mines cut into the side of the mountain. Colin put up this new map of the cave area and I had a few ideas in mind and I would like to see your sketches again. Please post and have a good time. Peace

Caves Area, Pass 1

So now it is time to split up the map and go crazy with details! I went ahead and grabbed the caves section and sketched a quick layout. If you have any ideas for any section, sketch it out. There will be no specific sections assigned to any one person, so just have fun and go crazy!

Ok, some quick notes about the caves. The "Abyss" is cave that has no floor and looks like it falls down forever. Think of the mines of moria in LOTR. So the little circle of 'Cave' in the center of each cavern is a land spire. I'll post up some ISO's of those details later in the weekend. As for the 'Slope-Up Direction' arrows, the Arrow end represents the high point, non arrow end the lowest point.

Let me know what you all think! And get busy! Sooner the whole map is detailed out the sooner we can block it out and the sooner we can play some TF2!
